PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON ENDORSES CONGRESSMAN RICHARD E. NEAL
Clinton Mail Piece and Phone Call to Reach All Democratic Households

(SPRINGFIELD) President Bill Clinton has endorsed Congressman Richard E. Neal for reelection. Today, a flier will be delivered to every Democratic home throughout the First Congressional District. Likewise, on Tuesday - the eve of Clinton's keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte - a Clinton phone call will be made to every Democrat.

“I've known Richie for two decades and I've worked with him and I know no one works harder for the people of western and central Massachusetts than he does,” said Clinton. “On Thursday, September 6, I urge you to vote for Congressman Neal.”

“I am proud to have the endorsement of President Clinton,” said Neal. “During his presidency, we worked together to grow our economy to the tune of 22 million jobs, a 3.8% unemployment rate, a trillion dollar surplus, and four consecutive balanced budgets. By embracing Clinton's economic message, I know we will experience similar results.”
