The Milford Democratic Town Committee held its annual breakfast at the Portuguese Club in Milford on Sunday, drawing 250 guests.
U.S. Rep. Richard Neal, D-2nd, was honored for his many contributions to the people in his district and the help he has provided for the town of Milford.
Lt. Gov. Tim Murray, state Sen. Richard Moore, D-Uxbridge, state Rep. John Fernandes, D-Milford, state Rep. Jennifer Callahan, D-Sutton, and Tom Foley, candidate for Worcester County sheriff, attended.
John Beccia, chairman of the Democratic Town Committee, welcomed everyone, gave opening remarks, and thanked the Planning Committee. Master of Ceremonies was Louis Bertonazzi.
Beccia and Vice Chairman Elaine Nigro presented Rep. Neal with a clock indicating gratitude for his numerous efforts on behalf of all residents in his district during his years of service.
Area towns represented at the breakfast included Hopedale, Uxbridge, Douglas, Grafton, Northbridge, Leicester and Blackstone.
